Barbara Swanson

Mrs. Barbara Marie Swanson, age 81, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 4, 1933 to Mark & Svea (Nelson) Stordahl and married Richard Swanson on April 28, 1986. Mrs. Swanson was employed as a bookkeeper at Parmenter, Forsythe & Rude for 10 years. She was a long time member of Samuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed knitting and volunteering at the 4H Horse Club and L.S.T. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Kevin (Melody) Paddock of WA, Richard Swanson Jr. of Washington DC; daughters, Kelly (Dale) Torres of TX, Kristin (Andrew) Stapor of VA; 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard. SERVICE Saturday, March 28, 2015, 11:00 am at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Marcy Miller officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Samuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
