Barbara J. Ross

Barbara Jane Ross, age 92, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born in Atlantic, Iowa on November 21, 1925 to William & Onetah (Kringle) Chubb and received her teaching degree from Grand Valley State College. Barbara had been employed as a teacher for Muskegon Area Intermediate School District until retiring. Barbara was a member of Central United Methodist Church and Friends of North Muskegon Library. She enjoyed reading, Karate, drawing, sketching, writing poetry and hiking in the woods. SURVIVORS Sons, Toby (Cindy) Ross, Kerry (Pat) Ross; daughters, Kim (Joe) Clark, Holly (Mike) Spoelman; grandchildren, Jamey, Rhonda, Josh, Gabe, Daniel, Jessica, Brooke, Nick, Derek, Andrew; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Aldine Rubenstein and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Milan Richmond. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Saturday, November 10, 2018, 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeremy Williams officiating.
