Barbara Rogers

Mrs. Barbara A. Rogers, age 82, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. She was born in Easley, South Carolina on February 16, 1931 to William "Guy" & Jennie (Griffin) Hood and married James Kenneth Rogers on August 26, 1950. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church (Liberty, SC) and enjoyed being with her friends in the Dorcas Sunday School Class. Mrs. Rogers had been a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly. SURVIVORS Children, Tony Rogers of Houghton, MI, Darren Rogers and his wife, Kimberly of Muskegon; grandchildren, Griffin Rogers, Crawford Rogers; brother, Charles Hood and his wife, Barbara of SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. SERVICE Wednesday, October 23, 2013, 2:00 PM. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00-2:00 PM at Liberty Mortuary, Liberty SC with Dr. Rick Lee officiating. Private entombment will be held at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
