Barbara Ramthun

Mrs. Ramthun, age 87, died June 9, 2007. Born February 12, 1920, in Milwaukee, to Jacob and Mary (Spangler) Schropp, she had lived in the White Lake area all her life. On July 20, 1940, in Montague, she married Vernon Ramthun, who preceded her in death in 1997. She has been a homemaker and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Mrs. Ramthun was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Augustin, and a son-in-law, Jim Clapp. FAMILY: 3 children, Nancy Clapp of Whitehall, Patricia (Jerry) Doran of Montague and Roy (Elizabeth) Ramthun of Athens, WV; grandchildren, Erin (Jeremy) Dykman and Anna & Jacob Ramthun; great-grandson, Aiden Dykman; 1 sister, Jeanette Kreger of Montague; 3 brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Schropp of Hesperia, Fred (Barb) Schropp of Scottville and Dan (Carol) Schropp of Muskegon. FUNERAL LITURGY: Saturday, June 16, 2007, at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Montague.
