Mrs. Barbara J. Holwerda, age 89, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 24, 1924 to Oscar & Marie Bennett and married Sidney Holwerda on March 18, 1946. Mrs. Holwerda had been a beautician with her own business for years. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church. SURVIVORS Husband of 67 years, Sidney; son, Bruce (Jill) Holwerda; daughters, Terri (Lynn) Deneen, Tami (Pat) Tlachac; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Berryhill and Patricia Koster; several nieces and nephews. she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon.
