Barbara George

Mrs. Barbara Jean George, age 75, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. She was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on July 25, 1939 to Alex & Irene (Vilinsky) Harland and married Albert George on August 29, 1957. Mrs. George had been employed as a Purchasing Agent for the City of Westland for over 20 years until retiring. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother whose grandchildren meant the most to her. She loved gardening, and spending time at the beach with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS Son, Marc George of Grand Haven; daughter, Cynthia (Martin Jason) George of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Joseph, Samantha (Nicholas), Kaley (Shawn); 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert. SERVICE Private Services will be held.
