Barbara Cook

Mrs. Barbara Ann Cook, age 73, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015. She was born in Muskegon Heights, Michigan on December 21, 1941 to Leon & Helen (Cambell) Thomas and married Clifford "Skip" L. Cook Jr. on June 30, 1962. Mrs. Cook had been employed as an Assistant Manager for Rite Aid retiring as Store Manager after 36 years of service. Barbara was a member of Community United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, crafts, walking along the beach and channel of Lake Michigan and loved being around people. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband of 53 years, Cliff "Skip"; sons, Douglas (Roberta) Cook of N. Muskegon, Darren (Jan) Cook of Casnovia; grandchildren, Ashton (Leander) Johnson, Kasey (William) Olesak, Ryan Douglas Cook, Meghan LeAnne Cook; great grandchildren, Maura Grace McRae, Olivia Rosemary Olesak; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Helen, John, Charles "Ski", Leon, Dick, Betty & Bobby. SERVICE Friday, October 16, 2015, 11:00 am and visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Phillip Friedrick officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIAL: Community United Methodist Church.
