Clark, Barbara Ann Muskegon, Michigan Barbara Ann Clark, age 92, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on May 19, 1930 to William & Esther (Lofquist) Hartman and attended Bunker School and Muskegon High School She married James Clark on August 26, 1950 and he preceded her in death after nearly 70 years of marriage in February 2020. Barb and Jim enjoyed Square and Round Dancing and were members of "Hi Neighbors". She also bowled on a league for many years and liked going to dances at the Moose Lodge. A lifelong fan of the beach at Pere Marquette Park she would ride her bike there from Lakeside in her teen years, had family picnics on the beach, and in her later years enjoyed watching the waves and the birds. She had worked at Hackley Hospital as a nurse's aide and later worked in the office at Brunswick and Norge. Barb had attended both Central Reformed and First Congregational Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Christian Care Memory Center for their wonderful care and treating Barb like a member of the family. SURVIVORS daughters Nancy (Roland) Spoon, Debra (Mark) Sherburn; grandchildren, Robin (David) Semelbauer, David (Kristie) Spoon, Stephanie (Blair) Celano, Andrea (Joshua) Sayles, Emily Sherburn; great-grandchildren, Taylor Semelbauer, Kaylie Semelbauer, Bella Semelbauer, Landon Spoon, Nick Verbanic, Noah (Kailee) Verbanic, Isabella Celano, Brianna Celano; great-great-grandchild, Paisley Verbanic; brother-in-law, Jerry Clark; sister-in-law, Pat Clark; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, James; sisters Winifred(Albert)Schrebe, Audrey(Steve) Matuz ,and Edith(Glenn) Paulson; and brother Robert(Laura)Hartman; brothers-in-law John & Joseph Clark; sisters-in-law, Barb & Elizabeth Clark. SERVICE Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Calvin Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Mark Milkamp officiating. Join the family for a light luncheon and visitation afterwards.
