ACORD, MRS. BARBARA L. Spring Lake Mrs. Barbara L. Acord, age 62, died Sunday, January 11, 2004. She was born in Detroit, on July 3, 1941. The former Barbara Simm married James Acord on September 12, 1959. Mrs. Acord was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, bowling and swimming. SURVIVORS 1 son, John Renee Acord of West Virginia; 3 daughters, Diana Steve LaNore of Fruitport, Billie Ashlock of Arizona and Linda Acord of Spring Lake. 4 grandchildren, Devin, Amy, Jessie and James; 1 great grandson, Taylor; father, Frank Fliney of Fruitport. She was preceded in death by her husband James, sister, Sally Daly & a brother, Thomas Simm. SERVICE According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
