Bista, Babu Lal Grand Haven, Michigan Babu Lal Bista, age 54, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born in Dagana, Bhutan on April 5, 1968 to Nar & Bhadrika (Khadka) Bista. Babu studied in India, and lived and worked in Nepal, prior to his move to Grand Haven. He was a beloved chemistry teacher and avid botanist with a special love of orchids. He was a dedicated father, husband, brother, and son who valued education, family, and hard work. SURVIVORS Babu is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Nar Maya Bista, his two children, Angel and Lorina Bista, alongside his parents, Nar Bahadur Bista and Bhadrika Bista, brothers, Yam and Raj Bista, sister, Krishna Dahal, and extended family.
