B. Fern Rork

RORK, MRS. FERN B. Muskegon Mrs. Fern B. Rork, age 89, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002. She was born in Sparta, MI on July 23, 1912 to Herbert & Sarah Harwood Wilson & married Jack Rork in Grand Rapids, MI on April 20, 1936. Mrs. Rork was a 1931 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School & a 1935 graduate of the Blodgett Memorial Hospital Registered Nursing Program. Prior to retiring in July of 1977, Mrs. Rork had worked as a Registered Nurse & as a Social Worker for the Michigan Dept. of Social Services for 23 years. She was a member of Edgewood Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS 1 son, Michael Carolyn Rork of Muskegon, MI; 3 daughters, Ellen Dr. James McDonald of Kalamazoo, MI, Mary Arthur Neibarger of Tecumseh, MI & Margaret Darby of Marshall, MI; 10 grandchildren, Jamie, Tim, Bonnie, Susan, Eric, Mark, Scott, Sean, Todd 10 great grandchildren, Connor, Allison, Sean, Kasey, Luke, Alec, Zach, Christian, Benjamin & Mallory; 1 sister, Zelpha Warren Benefiel of Conklin, MI; 2 nieces & 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 1984. SERVICE Monday, February 4, 2002, 3:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Lewis Glick officiating. Interment at Mona View Cemetery.
