Augusta Rose Mccauley

Mrs. Augusta Rose McCauley, age 95, of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008. She was born June 20, 1913 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late, Alex and Mary Gee. Surviving are her children: Betty (Jerry) Carlson and Gareld Jr., (Mary) McCauley; grandchildren: Douglas (Vicki) Carlson, Dana (Nancy) Carlson, Dianne (Gary) Nuismer, Ken (Krista) McCauley, Becky (Marc) Sprayberry; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Bogue, Tillie Arnold, and Catherine Bentley; a brother, Floyd Gee. Augusta was preceded in death by her husband Gareld Sr. 'Jerry' McCauley; a grandson, Don McCauley; two sisters, and five brothers. She retired from Muskegon Community College. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Vikings Lodge 3132 Lakeshore Drive on Friday, July 25th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon at 12:00 noon.
