Audrey Bylund Weikert

Mrs. Audrey J. Weikert, age 82, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 27, 1926 to William & Mary (Boozer) Braun and married Rudolph Bylund in June of 1946. After Rudolph's passing, she married Harold Weikert in August, 2000. Mrs. Weikert had been employed as an Administrative Assistant at Mona Shores Public Schools for 20 years until retiring in 1981. She was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church and the Muskegon Elks. Audrey volunteered at Hackley Hospital and was an avid reader who enjoyed golf & Florida. But foremost was always her family and the company of her many friends. SURVIVORS Sons, Rudy (Denise) Bylund, Randy (Sharon) Bylund; grandson, Joshua (Tiffani Schulz) Bylund; special friend, Irv Carlson all of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Rudolph in 1992, her 2nd husband, Harold in 2003 and granddaughter, Kim Bylund in 2008. SERVICE Saturday, February 21, 2009, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel with Pastor Phillip Nordstrand officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 5-7 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Samuel Lutheran Church or Harbor Hospice.
