Audrey Schmidt

Mrs. Schmidt, age 77, died April 14, 2007. Born June 20, 1929, in Montague, to Henry and Gladys (Conklin Ocobock) Kroll, she had lived in the White Lake area all her life. On September 24, 1949, in Indiana, she married Robert D. Schmidt. She had been a homemaker, worked as a sales associate at Klinefelter's Ben Franklin Store, and had been a school crossing guard for Whitehall Public Schools. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of Lebanon Lutheran Church, where she was involved with the women's guild, had been involved with the White Lake Fire Authority Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Johnson; a grandson, Gregory R. A. Johnson; and a sister, Elsie Christianson. FAMILY: Her husband, Robert; 2 sons, Charles Schmidt of Whitehall and Robert (Janet) Schmidt of Rothbury; 3 granddaughters, Angela Franklin of Whitehall, Traci (Brad) Murphy of Montague and Amber (Cory) Flahive of Whitehall; great-grandchildren, Devon, Colbe, Colin, Braxton, Bryce, Reilly & Raegan; son-in-law, Gregory Johnson of Montague.
