Mrs. Audrey M. Pacyga, age 85, passed away early Tuesday morning at a local hospital following a short illness. Audrey was born in Muskegon on March 21, 1922 to John and Mary (Neis) Bour and was a graduate of Muskegon Heights High School. The former Audrey Bour married Mr. Frank Pacyga in 1944. He preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Pacyga was employed at Howmet Casting for 20 years, retiring in 1987 and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Throughout the years Audrey enjoyed bowling, bingo, going to the casino and crocheting. Mrs. Pacyga is survived by her: 6 children, Larry (Betty) Pacyga of Holton, Danny (Linda) Pacyga, Michael Pacyga, Thomas (Brenda) Pacyga, Rosemary Tripp, and Lori Detamore all of Muskegon; a sister, Virginia (Kenneth) Engle of Grand Haven; daughter-in-law, Melanie Alexander; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A MEMORIAL SERVICE celebrating her life will be held at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 26, 2007 with Fr. Norman Droski presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning 1 hr prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Heart Association.
