NEWALD, NELSON MRS. AUDREY M. Roosevelt Park Mrs. Audrey M. Nelson Newald, age 78, died Monday, August 6, 2001. She was born in Muskegon, MI on May 12, 1923 to Oscar & Helga Johnson Nelson & married James Newald in Muskegon on April 23, 1948. Mrs. Newald was a homemaker, a member of Westwood Reformed Church & had been a longtime member of Central Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Eunice Circle & past president of the LCW. She also served as an elections officer for the City of Roosevelt Park for over 30 years. SURVIVORS Husband, James; 1 son, Larry James Linda Lloyd Newald of San Diego, CA; 1 daughter, Lois Ann Ted Havermans of Muskegon; her grandchildren, Audra Ann her grandmother's namesakeHavermans & Brennan James Havermans; 1 brother, Oscar Louise Nelson of Muskegon; several nieces, nephews, many good neighbors as well as special family friends. SERVICE Wednesday, August 8, 2001, 11:00 AM at Westwood Reformed Church with Rev. David Willerup officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
