Arthur Wilson

Mr. Arthur J. Wilson, age 86, died Monday, August 15, 2011. He was born in Muskegon, on July 4, 1925 to Elvis & Nellie (Berry) Wilson and married the former Dorothy Barsema on December 3, 1943. Mr. Wilson had been employed as a Millwright at Teledyne Continental Motors for over 40 years until retiring. He was a member of Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ and was an avid fisherman & outdoors man who loved carpentry. SURVIVORS Sister, Coleen Christiansen and her friend, Robert Stone of Fruitport; brother-in-law, Norman Batch; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy in 2008; sisters, Pauline Batch, Nadine Glassman. SERVICE Friday, August 19, 2011, 11:00 AM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Donald Wood officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Fruitport Congregational UCC Memorial Fund.
