Arthur Joseph Siplon, Jr.

SIPLON, MR. ARTHUR J. Roosevelt Park Mr. Arthur J. Siplon, age 83, died Sunday, October 24, 2004. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 11, 1921 to Arthur J. & Ellen Harkness Siplon, Sr. & married the former Jean Edlund on January 2, 1947 in Muskegon. Mr. Siplon served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1939-1945. He had been employed as a Superintendent of Claims at State Farms Insurance for 31 years until retiring in 1984. He was a Lifetime member of Muskegon Elks, American Legion Merritt Lamb Post; VFW Post 3195 & Mona Lake Boating Club. Mr. Siplon enjoyed golfing & playing cribbage. SURVIVORS Wife, Jean; 1 son, Sean O. Ann Marie Siplon of Norton Shores; 3 daughters, Susan E. Daniel Rinaldi of NJ, Sena L. Paul Fostvedt of GA & Sally A. Steve Knox of GA; 8 grandchildren, Patsy, Rachel, Elizabeth, Emily, Laura, Sarah, David Arthur 2 sisters, Carol Augustin of Whitehall, MI & Dorothy Richard Johnson of LaPeer, MI; 2 brothers, Donald Corine Siplon of FL & Robert Linda Siplon of WY & many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & beloved step-mother, Sena Siplon. SERVICE Thursday, October 28, 2004, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel with David Seebald officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association. Clock - Muskegon
