Arthur Newhoff

Mr. Arthur A. Newhoff, age 89, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Florida. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 4, 1921 to Arthur & Amanda (Benson) Newhoff and married the former Alyce Bjornstrom on August 9, 1958. Mr. Newhoff had been employed as a clerk at the Muskegon Post Office for over 30 years and then in the mail room at Comerica for 15 years until retiring. He was a life long member of Samuel Lutheran Church and played in the bell choir and ushered for 30 years. Arthur liked Tiger baseball and will be dearly missed. SURVIVORS Sisters, Carol Hall of Muskegon, Wanda (Victor) Ogreen of FL; nieces and nephews, John (Judith) Ogren, Tom (Kari) Ogreen, Cheryl (John) Martinez; great nieces and nephews, David, Ben, Matt, Amanda. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alyce. SERVICE Thursday, April 14, 2011, 11:00 AM at Samuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Marcy Miller officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Samuel Lutheran Church.
