Arthur R. Bachmann

Mr. Arthur R. Bachmann, age 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 1, 2007. He was born on November 16, 1945 to Reinhold and Edith (Lewis) Bachmann in Flint, MI. He worked as a Journeyman tool grinder for Federal Mogul prior to his retirement in November 2005. Some of Art's hobbies included fishing, collecting fishing tackle, wood working, camping and riding his Harley Davidson. On April 12th, 1965 he married, Carol Pesch in Flint, MI. Art is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol; 2 sons, Eric Bachmann of Muskegon and Mark Bachmann of Holland; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Julia and Noah; 2 sisters, Margaret Won of Flint and Jean Patrick of Lennon; many nieces and nephews and many great friends. Mr. Bachmann was preceded in death by his parents and good friend, Paul Wilson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Thursday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor Verne Wright. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. A private burial will take place on Friday at Norton Cemetery.
