Arnold E. Leder

LEDER, MR. ARNOLD ELDON Spring Lake Mr. Arnold E. Leder, age 89, died Monday, February 7, 2005. He was born in Bay City, MI on September 26, 1915 to John & Ernestine Goedecke Leader and married the former Joan Hutchinson on April 16, 1953. Mr. Leder graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS and received his MBA from the University of Michigan. He served his country during WWII in the Air Force in both the Pacific and European Theaters. He also served in the Air Force Reserves achieving the rank of Lt. Col. Mr. Leader had been employed as the Marketing Director at SPX Corporation for 40 years until retiring in 1980 and he was a member of First Congregational Curch in Muskegon. SURVIVORS Wife, Joan; 5 sons, Arnold Linda Leder II of IL, Robert Leder of Lansing, John Bebel Leder of FL, Jeffrey Leder of Spring Lake, Joel Denise Leder of OR; 5 grandchildren, David Leder, Martin Leder, Sarah Corrigan, Jeremy Leder, Jody Leder; 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Harold JoAnne Leder of FL. SERVICE A family graveside service will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 4-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
