Arluster German born April 19, 1937 - January 16, 2021 Arluster German (Arluster preferred Arlester), was born April 19,1937 in Wesson Mississippi, to Johnie and Willie Ann German In Arlester's early years he attended Mount Zion Church of God in Christ. As a young adult he made the decision to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force where he was able to see the world and an experience of a lifetime that he often talked about after leaving the military. Arlester married Mary Ella Rose Cotton and during their union Marvin and Marvina German were born. Arlester enjoyed life with much laughter and was a hard working diligent employee at Lakey Foundry, Kent design, Howmet Aerospace Inc., and Nationwide Security where he worked until he retired several times. Arlester loved many things about life music, reading the newspaper, and barbecuing with family and his friends and was known as "Cream". He also loved playing sports. His favorite sports were basketball and baseball also enjoyed watching sports but rather have played them. Cherishing his memory are his son Marvin, and daughter Marvina German-Bailey (husband Minister Arthur Bailey), Surviving brothers Oscar and John German, sisters Lena Waldington and Elizabeth Govan, preceded in death Johnnie, Edward, Howard, Myrtle, Willie German, Geneva McDowell, Betty Taylor, Eddie Clark. 14 grandchildren, including devoted granddaughter Marshell Wilson, Marla Bailey, and Marian Bailey also his buddy grandson Alpha Bailey, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, a special mention to Lena Lang and Brenda McAllister, nephews, a special mention to Ivan Underwood, and Reuben German. A host of friends including his longtime friends Mr. George Black, Mr. and Mrs. Collins, Mr. Karl Clanton, "Monkey man", Mr. Carlos Roberts, "Fats", Mr. Eddie Sandford, and Bob Flowers. One of Arlester's favorite quotes was he has been blessed! Rest in peace Dad, your daughter who love and adore you forever! Also Arluster preferred Arlester.
