She was born in Muskegon, MI on December 6, 1948 to Henry & Leda (Kushner) Kennert & married Joseph Goryl on May 9, 1970 in Muskegon, MI. Mrs. Goryl had been employed as a Medical Transcriptionist at Norton Family Practice. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Arlene enjoyed bowling, watching sports and being with her family. SURVIVORS Husband, Joseph; Children, Jolene (Louie) Jasick of Muskegon, Jennifer (Keith) Gil of Muskegon, Janelle Olson of Spring Lake & Jeremy (Diane) Goryl of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; mother, Leda Kennert of Muskegon; siblings, Bob (Sue) Kennert, Linda (Bob) Peterson, Kathy (Skip) Elam & Ron (Gina) Kennert; sisters-in-law, Add Beckley, Pauline (Ed) Skocelas, Theresa Lednicky, Pat Wilson, Veronica Rush, Lillian Dyer, Kathy (Bob) Williams & Ruth Goryl; several nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry; mother & father in law, Michael & Lottie Goryl & brother-in-law, Eugene. SERVICE Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Brown officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
