Arlene Brooks

Mrs. Arlene May Brooks, age 91, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 30, 1927 to George & Eva (Sicard) Seastrom and married Edwin Brooks Jr. in 1953. Mrs. Brooks had been employed as a Key Punch Operator for Sealed Power for over 20 years. Arlene was a longtime member of Community United Methodist Church in North Muskegon and loved volunteering at the Red Cross, Hackley Gift Shop, the Rescue Mission & her church. Mrs. Brooks enjoyed travel, reading, knitting & jigsaw puzzles. SURVIVORS Son, Ed Brooks; grandchildren, Tova "Virginia" (Eli) Mellen, Clarie Brooks, Samantha Brooks; great grandchild, Avi Mellen; nephews, Richard (Dorothy) Johnson, Ron (Carol) Johnson; many great & great -great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edwin in 1963; sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Gladys Murphy; nephew, David Johnson. SERVICE A memorial service will be held at a later date.
