Arlene Joyce-Donovan Anderson

Mrs. Arlene Joyce-Donovan Anderson, age 72, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008, following a courageous battle with respiratory problems. She was born August 12, 1936 in Muskegon to Francis Donovan and Anna Anderson and was later adopted by James Wiseman. On June 15, 1956, she married Harold M. Anderson, Sr. in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1998. Arlene had worked at the Norge and for a short time was a dispatcher for Central Dispatch in Muskegon County. She last worked as a manager for Variety Woodworks. She enjoyed quilting and gardening and especially loved to watch the bluebirds in her yard. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Angie (Kenneth) Sutton of Muskegon; 1 son, Harold M. (Connie) Anderson, Jr. of Spring Lake; 3 brothers, James (Pat) Wiseman, Eddie (Ellie) Wiseman, and Jerry (Nancy) Wiseman. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Beverly Wolters. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue (231) 726-5210 with the Rev. John H. Brown officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION with Arlene's family will be 5-8 PM Tuesday.
