Arita M. Oldt

Arita M. Oldt OLDT, MRS. ARITA M. Muskegon Heights Mrs. Arita M. Oldt, age 88, passed away at a local hospital on January 8, 2006, following a short illness. The second of four children, she was born March 5, 1917 in Muskegon to Mose and Gustine (Carron) Lasser. She graduated from St. Jean's High School in 1936. She played the organ at St. Jean's Church for over twelve years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She married Merle C. Oldt, Jr. in Muskegon on June 3, 1939. Mrs. Oldt worked in Grand Haven at the W.T. Grant Co. for thirteen years. She is survived by her husband, Merle; 1 son, Thomas G. (Ms. Dale Mueller) Oldt of Whitehall; 1 daughter, Janet (Guy) Robbins of Montague; 3 grandsons, Christopher (Dee) Robbins, Mark Robbins and Todd (Sue) Robbins; 3 great-grandchildren, Mark Robbins II, Zachary Robbins and Lauren Robbins; and a dear friend, Rita Erickson of Muskegon. The FUNERAL LITURGY will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wednesday 11 A.M., with Fr. Max Frego presiding. INTERMENT: St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION: 1 hour prior to the Mass.
