Ardith Spoelman

Mrs. Ardith A. Spoelman, age 67, passed away April 22, 2007. She was born on May 12, 1939 to Duane and Corene (Rushton) Johnson in Central Lake, MI. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church. Mrs. Spoelman was a volunteer at Hospice, March of Dimes, and an active member of TOPS. She enjoyed quilting, genealogy and traveling with her sister, Esther. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Versile, and her husband of 30 years Lewis Spoelman. SURVIVORS: Ardith will be greatly missed by her children, Jim (Jill) Spoelman, Anne (Fred) Reinecke of Muskegon, Steve Spoelman of Woodland, MI and Les and Shirley Spoelman of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Esther (Frank) Novotny and one brother, Elmer Johnson both from Bellaire. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2 PM Thursday at Hope Reformed Church with Pastor Steve Hyma officiating. VISITATION will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 and one hour prior to the service at church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to the family. Burial will take place at Torch Lake Cemetery.
