Mrs. Ardis A. Neumann, age 70, passed away at her home Monday, May 7, 2007, following a short illness. She was born February 23, 1937 in Garfield Township (Newaygo County) to Elmer and Flossie (Rice) Bisard and moved to Muskegon as a child. She married Roger A. Neumann in Muskegon on March 12, 1977. She was a charter member of the Fruitport Eagles Auxiliary. Ardie was an accomplished musician and played guitar and sang lead vocals in a cover band called "R-Eazy". She is survived by her husband, Roger; 2 daughters, Jodi L. (Jeffrey) Zelsdorf of Muskegon and Debra F. Neumann of Grand Haven; a special sister, Jolly Johnson of Fruitport; 2 special daughters, Raeanne (Angel) Ward of Las Vegas and Lexi Hart of Muskegon; 7 brothers, Fred (Joan) Bisard, Jim (Bonnie) Bisard, Randy Bisard, Bobby Bisard, Wayne (Paula) Ripley and Jimmie Ripley all of Muskegon, and Richard Ripley of Missouri; 3 sisters, Lois (John) Ploeger of Emmitt, ID, Linda (Gary) Lamer of Columbus, OH and Tinker "Lola" (Butch) Wentzloff of Hesperia; and 5 grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, Dustan, Raven and Zachary. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Elmer and Richard Bisard. As per Ardie's wishes, a private memorial service for family members only will be held.
