Ardis Jane Dahlquist

Dahlquist, Ardis Jane Muskegon, Michigan Ardis Jane Dahlquist, age 92, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on December 13, 1929 to Harry & Elsie (Fethke) Benson and married Donald Dahlquist on August 26, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2018. Ardis attended Muskegon Community College, Michigan State and Ferris State and was the former owner and bookkeeper at Benson Drugs until retiring. She was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church and it's circles. She enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Lake Michigan during the summers and snow skiing during the winters. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and "spoiling" them. For 20 years Ardis and Don wintered in Port Richey, FL. They also enjoyed cruises and travel with family and friends to to Pharmacy conventions and ski trips. SURVIVORS Daughter, Susan (Robert) Erickson of Oxford; Son Randy (Debra) Dahlquist of Muskegon; grandchildren, Connor Dahlquist of Lansing, Erica (Kevin) Ihrke of Oxford, Jason (Monica) Erickson of Laingsburhg; great-grandchildren, Kiersten & Korinne Ihrke, Jayden & Paige Erickson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald; brother Gordon Benson and grandson Eric Dahlquist. SERVICE A memorial service to celebrate Ardis's life will take place on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 12 noon at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Cook officiating.
