Archie Kiel, age 82, of Muskegon, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, June 6, 2025. He was born in Mancelona, MI on July 5, 1942 to Bearl & Nellie (Straight) Kiel. He married his lifelong partner of 65 years, Carolyn Kavorik, on May 14, 1960. He attended Mancelona High School. He worked at CWC Textron in Muskegon for 40 years. Archie enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends when his children were young. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and had traveled to many States going to car shows over the years. He was a member of West Michigan Street Rod Association for 50 years. He would always lend a hand to a friend in need.

SURVIVORS

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Carolyn; his children, Kelly Weisner, Tracy (Nick) DuShane, and Marty Kiel; his grandchildren, Kasey (Dan) Kadzban, Kody Weisner, Nikole DuShane, and Logen DuShane; great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Kadzban; and his special nephew, Harold Kiel Jr.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; and son in law, Paul Weisner.

SERVICES

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 4-7PM. There will be no formal funeral service.
