Anthony "Tony" Kurdziel

Mr. Anthony D. "Tony" Kurdziel, age 67, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 27, 1942 to Anthony & Louise (Gibson) Kurdziel and married the former Susan Soderstrom on August 8, 1998. Mr. Kurdziel had been employed as a janitor at Universal Camshaft & Lakeside United Methodist Church until retiring. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, working in his yard & his cats, Kellie, Goldie, Melanie & Lisa. SURVIVORS Wife, Susan Kay; mother, Louise Hawley; brother, Tom (Gail) Kurdziel; nephews, Peter Kurdziel, Paul (Renee) Kurdziel, Ben (Nicole) Thompson, Jay, Randall, Bradley Thompson, Ryan Soderstrom; niece, Lorna Soderstrom; grandnieces, Elizabeth, Madeleine Kurdziel, Katherine Thompson; brother-in-law, Mark (Linnea) Soderstrom; sister-in-law, Sera (Richard) Thompson; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 30 years, Gail; their newborn son, David; and his father, Anthony. SERVICE Saturday, August 22, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Baptist Church with Rev.
