Annie R. Jackson

Ms. Annie Ruth Jackson, age 76, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born in Columbus, MS on March 18, 1942 to Charlie & Susie (Lawrence) Woods. Ms. Jackson had been employed as a Social Worker for the State of Michigan for over 35 years until retiring. Annie was a member of Queen Esther Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir, traveling and spending time with family. SURVIVORS Sons, Kenneth (Sheila) Jackson, Keith Jackson, Kyle Jackson; daughters, Dalana Jackson, Tanene Jackson; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brothers, Ricky Davis, Godfrey (Linda) Davis; sisters, Daisy Underwood, Vickie Davis & Sonja Davis; several nieces & nephews; former husband, Arthur Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Davis; sister, Mary Taylor & daughter-in-law, Catrina Jackson. SERVICE Monday, October 29, 2018, 11:00 AM with a public viewing one hour prior to the service at Queen Esther Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Greer Jr. officiating. Internment in Restlawn Cemetery. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, please give to Queen Esther Missionary Baptist Church.
