Anita O'Brien

Mrs. Anita M. O'Brien, age 69, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. She was born in Muskegon, MI on September 20, 1945 to William & Aline Krauss and married James O'Brien on September 22, 1962. Mrs. O'Brien had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Roosevelt Park Nursing Center for 20 years until retiring. She was an avid fisherman who enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing and card games. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Robert (Laura) O'Brien of Fruitport, Michael (Desirae) O'Brien of Fremont; daughters, June (Mark) Barber of Muskegon, Robin (Randy) Brandes of Montague; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; special friend and companion, Dale Bunnell of Fruitport; brother, Tony Krauss of Escanaba; sister, Mona Krauss of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; brothers, John and sisters, Nancy & Rose and aunt Anita. SERVICE Thursday, October 23, 2014, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
