GUZMAN, MRS. ANITA Grand Haven Anita Guzman, 63, of Grand Haven, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at North Ottawa Community Hospital. She was born June 6, 1941 in Austin, TX to Esequiel and Isabella Benites Cortez and married Daniel Guzman Jr. on Oct. 13, 1962 in Grand Rapids, MI. Mrs. Guzman and her husband owned and operated D & A Lawn Care. She also had been employed at Meijers, Transfer Tool Products, and at the voting polls in Ottawa County. She was a volunteer Spanish Translator for North Ottawa Community Hospital and other facilities. Mrs. Guzman was a member of Calvary Fellowship Church and the Grand Haven Senior Citizens. SURVIVORS Daniel Jr., husband of 41 years; 2 sons, Daniel Cherie Guzman III of Muskegon, MI and Levi Robin Guzman of Grand Haven, MI; daughter, Elisa Pastor Timothy Murdoch of Albion, ME; 6 grandchildren, Krishele Guzman, Jared Murdoch, Justin Guzman, Daniel Guzman IV, Taryn Guzman and Marc Guzman; 3 sisters, Maria Sanchez of Grand Rapids, MI, Maria Anita Johnson of Sparta, MI and Lupe Sanchez of Texas; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Guzman was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and 2 sisters. SERVICE Funeral Services for Mrs. Anita Guzman, age 63, will be held Friday, October 8, 2004, 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Free Church, 17737 W.
