BROADBENT, MR. ANGUS JOHN Muskegon, MI Formerly of Port Sanilac, MI and Mulberry, FL Mr. Angus J. Broadbent, age 86, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at The Village of the Oaks. He was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada on Feb. 21, 1919 to Edward and Anne Darrah Broadbent and married the former Marjorie Blok on February 19, 1950. He served his country in the Canadian Armed Forces in WWII. Mr. Broadbent had been a parts clerk at Wolverine Tractor Services in Detroit for 30 years until retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Lions Club and enjoyed golf, card games, bowling, fishing and hockey, but foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife, of 55 years, Marjorie; son, John Janet Broadbent of West Olive, MI; 3 grandchildren, Meghan, Jillian and Paul; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Broadbent was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pearl Horning and Margaret Murdock and a brother, Edward "Ted" Broadbent. SERVICE 1:00 Pm, Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven, with Fr. William Langlois officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS: American Cancer Society, 1383 E. Laketon Ave., Muskegon, MI 494442, the Port Sanilac Lions Club or Hospice of Muskegon Oceana.
