WIERENGO JR., MR. ANDREW Norton Shores Mr. Andrew Wierengo Jr., age 86, died Thursday, February 7, 2002. He was born in Muskegon, MI on February 23, 1915 to Andrew & Eva Howe Wierengo Sr. & married the former Cornelia Funkhouser in 1940 & she preceded him in death in 1959. He then married the former Sue McKee on November 5, 1960. Mr. Wierengo had been employed as Vice President of Purchasing at Shaw Walker for 47 years until retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church & served as a member of the St. Paul's Church vestry Senior Warden & was responsible for the St. Paul's statue project. Mr. Wierengo served on the boards for the Muskegon Country Club, Mona Lake Improvement Association & the Red Cross. He was an Ambuc & a Norton Township volunteer fireman. Andy will be remembered as a gentle man who loved his family & friends . . . & his skittles. SURVIVORS Wife, Sue; 2 sons, Andrew Wierengo III & Frank Barbara Wierengo of Houston TX; 4 daughters, Cornelia Wierengo of San Diego, CA, Emmaline Peter Koehl of Santa Ana, CA, Laurel Bodine of Grand Rapids, MI & Katharine Brad Russell of Atlanta, GA; 11 grandchildren: Peter, Stephen & Cornelia Koehl, Victoria & Samantha Russell, Colin & Aaron Wierengo, Tighe Chris Wierengo, Steffanie Scot Southland & Julia & Jane Bodine; 2 great grandchildren, Maika Koehl & Andi Wierengo. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Cornelia Funkhouser in 1959. SERVICE Monday, February 11, 2002, 4:00 PM at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, 1200 Seminole with Fr.
