Showers, Mr. Andrew Sidney Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Andrew Sidney Showers, age 52, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on April 22, 1969 to Leland & Reva (Geetings) Showers and attended Muskegon High School. He married the former Virginia "Ginger" Murray on February 14, 2010. Andy worked in die cast at several local foundries, spent some time at K&L Industries before becoming a Shipping Supervisor at Intra City Dispatch. "Squigg", as his friends called him, liked spending time riding his bicycle or hanging out with friends around the bonfire. He had a large collection of beer steins and also collected other bar mirrors and signs. He loved going to thrift stores in search of his next treasure. SURVIVORS Wife, Virginia "Ginger" Showers; Children, Andrew Showers Jr., Sydney Showers, Seth Showers; Step-Children, Danyal Hall, Shelbi Phillips, Chris Phillips; grandchildren, Carter, Allahna, Sophia, Aubreyanna, Addisyn; sisters, Violet Stempel, Dolly Kissel, April Thompson, Penny LaVassuer, Rose Witherell; brothers Jimmy Showers, Randy (Janie) Showers; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Reva Showers; siblings, Lee Showers, Richard Showers, Barbara French, and Marian Pearl. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, January 29, 2022, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with his brother Randy Showers officiating. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery in the spring.
