The world became a better place on May 2, 1990 when Amadeus Hernandez was born in Muskegon, MI. The youngest child of Armando Sr. and Hilaria (Reyes) Hernandez, Amadeus was animated, had a great sense of humor, and was a loving brother, son, cousin, uncle, friend, father, and husband. His love of music was something that he was not shy to share. With his guitar and singing voice, he would attend local open mic nights throughout Muskegon and share his music. "I said goodbye to many nights. I said hello to many new days. Too bad it's temporary. It's all temporary. I've said goodbye to many old friends. I've said hello to many new ones. It's just temporary. It's all temporary." In 2016 Amadeus recorded himself playing his guitar and singing these lyrics. Ironically, on August 8, 2018, we were reminded that our time on earth is just temporary as Amadeus transitioned to his eternal resting place where he joined three brothers, Ruebon Quijas Sr., Timothy Quijas, and Armando Hernandez, Jr., his parents Armando and Hilaria, and both sets of grandparents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his 7 year old son, Amadeus Eugene Hernandez, his wife Starr, his sister Aurelia (Creig) Kinnunen, three brothers Antonio (Sarah) Hernandez, Adam (Erica) Hernandez, and Monico (Renee Charest) Barajas; His step-mother Estella Barajas, 16 nieces and nephews, 3 great-nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Amadeus' life will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Christian Life Center, 103 Connie St, Fremont MI. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to offset the cost of his funeral expenses.
