Alvin Jack Crouch

Mr. Alvin Jack Crouch, age 79, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 19, 2008. Jack was born September 19, 1928, to Carl and Iola May (Stasser) Crouch in Muskegon Heights. He was a 1946 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School and a journeyman electrician. Jack was an avid reader and was active with several bowling and golf leagues, but most important to him was his faith. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he was involved in bible study and had served as an elder. Jack is survived by 4 children, Michael (Judith) Crouch and Sheryl (Dennis) Gunst of Norton Shores, David (Ruth) Crouch of Holland and Curt (Cheryl) Crouch of North Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Norman (Sally) Crouch of Norton Shores; and 1 sister, Carol Savidge of Muskegon Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin Crouch. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 23, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church, 2577 Wickham Dr. with Rev. Dr. Fred R. Halde officiating. Interment will be in Mona View Cemetery.
