Alva Auble

Mr. Alva D. Auble, age 81, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 16, 1928 to Alva & Viva (Laubach) Auble and served in the US Army Air Force. He married the former Elaine Spaulding on May 25, 1950. Mr. Auble had been employed as a Truck Driver at Wolverine Equipment for years until retiring. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughters, Susan Foster of Lansing, Connie (Kyran J. LaNore Jr.) Auble of Muskegon; grandchildren, Paula (David) Kelley of Traverse City, Le (Laurie) Law-VanDyke of Interlochen; great grandchildren, Sergei & Lera Kelley; sisters, Donna Mae Roltsch of Montague, Dolores Asmussen of AZ, Mary DeYoung of Muskegon; brother, Herbert (Phyllis) Auble of Rothbury; brother-in-law, Howard Saulding of FL; sister-in-law, Arlene (Russell) Ames; several nieces & nephews; his dog, Dusty Mop; the employees at Shell Gas Station on Whitehall Rd. who became more like family than just friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Elaine who died March 8, 2009. SERVICE Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Dan Anderson officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Arthritis Foundation, Hackley VNS Hospice or Amvets Post 120 in Mesick MI.
