Mrs. Althea Miller, wife of Richard E. passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at her assisted living home (Stonebridge) in Grand Rapids. She was born in Grayling, Michigan on May 23, 1919. She was well known in the Muskegon area in the 1950s and 60s as the leader of Y-Teens and the YWCA summer program at Camp Emery. SURVIVORS She is survived by daughters Nancy (of Alaska and Muskegon, and Thea (of Muskegon) as well as grandchildren Kris (and Mark) of Texas, Lindsay (and Mike) of Alaska, Jason ( and Connie) of Arizona, Justin (and Elaine) of Arizona and Courtney of Arizona, Mindy (and Marc) of Muskegon and Tonya (and Blake) of Bath; brother Gerald and sisters Joyce, Elnor and Barbara. She also had 10 great grandchildren: Lyndie, Brandon, Maddy, Aaron, Emily, Riley, Phoebe, Molly, Brooke and Brianna and many special nieces and nephews: Bruce (and Nancy), Mary Anne (and Dan), Gary (and Connie) and Sharon and Debbie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Phoebe, brothers, Elmer and Harry, sister, Jeanette, brother-in-law Bruce, son in law Roger, grandson Brandon, and husband Richard.
