Alta M. Laflame

LaFlame, Ms. Alta M. Montague, Michigan Ms. Alta M. LaFlame, age 94, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at SLKD in Whitehall, MI. She was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on December 9, 1927, to Charles LaFlame and Daisy Long. Alta accepted Christ at an early age. After graduating from high school, Alta pursued her degree in accounting and later became a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed singing and perform in local productions at the Muskegon Civic Theaters. Alta was also a part of the White Lake Chorus/Choral Group. She had a wonderful voice that could be heard miles and miles away. She will be deeply missed by many. SURVIVORS Alta leaves to cherish in her precious memories her children, Dennis (Darlene) Lynn, Char (David) Lynn- Schroeder; 4 grandchildren, Denny (Marva) Lynn Jr, Kenny Lynn, Mike (Amy) Lynn, and Chris (Tara) Lynn; , 6 great grandchildren, Felicia, Larz, Bailey, Kaitlyne, Mikey, Johnathan and Landen; 3 great-great grandchildren, Macie, Dax and Gabriel; 22 step grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, family and friends. Alta was preceded in death by both her parents, one daughter, Pamela Lynn,; one son, William Lynn Jr. SERVICE A Celebration of Life for Alta will be held 1PM on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Clock Funeral Home, 1469 Peck St, Muskegon, Michigan 49441 with Pastor Kevin Pycraft, officiating.
