Almeda Adelle Uskert

Uskert, Mrs Almeda Adelle Holton, Michigan On May 13th, 2022 Almeda went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Almeda was born on February 21, 1949 in Grand Rapids, MI to Albert E. and Fondelette (Welton) Oates. Almeda will be remembered for her witty humor, giving heart, wisdom, fighting spirit and delicious meals. She spent her time crocheting, embroidering, fishing, gardening and loved cooking meals for and assisting the elderly. She showered her loved ones with handmade gifts towards the end of her life. Although she will be greatly missed, her strong faith in Jesus ensures her salvation. "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him." 1 Thessalonians 4:14 SURVIVORS She leaves behind her loving family; Husband William Uskert, son Joshua (Sarah) Baker and granddaughters Eleanor and Sophia, daughter Priscilla (Mike) McFarland and grandchildren Cole, Hazel, and Sonora, sisters Doreena (Jim) Stark, Mary Ellen (Phil) Gooch, Apryl (Bill) Decker, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Noel Maxson SERVICE Friday, May 20, 2022, 3:00 PM at Blue Lake Community Church (10981 Blue Lake Rd, Holton, MI 49425) with Pastor Kevin Pycraft, officiating. Interment will be at Cascade Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI.
