WILDER, MRS. ALMA ELIZABETH Muskegon Mrs. Alma Elizabeth Wilder, age 102, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2004. Alma was born October 3, 1902 in Flandreau, South Dakota, the second child of Frederick and Margaret Ritschard Wenger. Her childhood years were spent on farms near Hawarden, Iowa, Wishek, North Dakota, Crocker, Missouri and Winnipegosis, Manitoba, Canada. In late 1918 the family moved to Michigan and in the spring of 1919 settled on a farm 3 miles south of Reeman. Alma found live-in housekeeping work in Fremont and then in Muskegon. On January 31, 1922 she married Raymond F. Wilder in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on November 25, 1962. Alma was a homemaker, keeping active with gardening, knitting, crocheting and making many of her own clothes. Each of her sons, all of the 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren have a hand made afghan. SURVIVORS Three sons; Fred W. and Donald D. Patricia M. of Muskegon, Raymond Buzz E. Patricia A. of CO; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Wenger, Hilda Wenger and Lillian Wenger of Manitoba Canada; nieces and nephews in Michigan and Canada. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gilbert, Edwin, Arthur, Lloyd and sisters Elsie, Freda and Sophie. SERVICE Monday, November 22, 2004, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Rager officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 10- 11 AM at Clock Funeral Home.
