Mrs. Alma Lois Hughes, age 87, died Sunday, November 20, 2005. She was born in Shelby Township, MI on May 10, 1918 to Ira & Lottie Frees Puffer & married A.J. Hughes on June 12, 1936. Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker & a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Joan Marie LaWayne Goodwin of Muskegon & June Irene Daniel Crothers of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren & 1 brother, Max Cathy Puffer of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, A.J. on February 10, 1995; 3 sisters, Thelma, Burnetta & Elda & by 2 brothers, R.E. "Buddy" & Raymond Puffer SERVICE Wednesday, November 23, 2005, 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport with Pastor Steve Worth officiating. Interment at Egelston Township Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 6-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Fruitport & Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport.
