Alline Stapleton

Alline Stapleton, age 65, passed away in her sleep on early Friday morning, May 2, 2008. She had been a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed competition and had been an active bowler, bingo and card player. Sheloved country music and was a great dancer who would "cut a rug" as often as possible with her husband. Her kindness and generosity were well known as she always helped out those in need and never turned anyone away. She was a spirited and feisty woman filled with her love of family and friends and their deep love of her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Edith (Hoffman) Goodman. She is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years, Henry "Boyd" Stapleton; five children, Denise Stapleton, Alex Stapleton, Cathy (Paul) Stevens, Henry Stapleton, Jr., and Janet Stapleton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four sisters. Funeral service will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, noon-1:00p.m.
