Allen Jesse White

Allen Jesse White, loving husband and father, age 78, passed away April 6, 2018 in Lakeland, FL. He was born on March 30, 1940 at home in Muskegon. MI. He was the son of Paul and Bertha (Mazade) White who preceded him in death. Al lived in the Muskegon area most of his life and retired from SPX Corporation after many years of service. Al met the former Helen Hutchinson in 1956 at a roller skating rink. They were a couple from then on. They were married January 21, 1961 and raised their family of three daughters, LuAnne, Cheryl and Lori. Family was very important to Al. Als passion was the outdoors and traveling, so it wasnt unusual for him to take His Girls camping. He also loved hunting with brother Gene, Maryann and the Boys. The last 8 years Al and his wife, Helen, were wintering in Lakeland, Florida. He loved Florida and the winter with his brother Denny and Pam. SURVIVORS He is survived by his wife Helen of 57 years, 3 daughters, LuAnne White, Cheryl and her husband David Sternberg and Lori White. 2 brothers, Eugene(Maryann)White and Dennis(Pamela)White, 2 sister-in-laws Frances Wood and Sue Stone, all from Muskegon, MI. Step sister-in-law Debbie Verboam of Hudson, Florida and many nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICE Monday, April 30, 2018, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Aaron Gregory officiating. Interment in Twin Lake Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Alzheimer's Association, American Diabetes Association or Harbor Hospice Foundation.
