Allen, Lieselotte "Lilo"

Mrs. Lieselotte "Lilo" Allen, age 79, died Thursday evening, December 7, 2006. She was born April 2, 1927 in Nova Ruda, Poland to Felix and Anna (Gabrish) Jablonski and moved to the Muskegon area in 1948. Mrs. Allen also lived for 2 years in Chicago before moving back to the Muskegon area where she has resided for most of her life. She was a business partner and office manager with her husband for the Milton Allen Construction Company which they ran for 50 years before retiring in 2000. Mrs. Allen was also the Chairperson for the March of Dimes in Muskegon County for 10 years in the 1960's. She also volunteered for the Red Cross for many years and was a member of the Auxiliary for the VFW Polar Bear Post 3734. On November 26, 1948, she married Milton Louis Allen in Regensburg, Germany and he survives her along with 6 children, Steven (Pat) Allen, Michael Allen, Dennis Allen, Patricia (Jeff) Noble, Suzanne (Jerry) Prell, and Robert (and Angie Smith) Allen; 7 grandchildren, Chris (Missy) Allen, Tammy Allen, Nicholle Noble, Brittany Noble, Jeffery Noble, Robert Prell, and Nathan Prell; 3 great-grandchildren, Erica Castillo, Jazzman Allen, and Andrew Allen; brother, Reinhard (Lee) Jablonski; and a niece, Claudia (Rick) Yarnell. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at a later date and will be announced in the spring.
