Alice "Allie" Zellar

Mrs. Alice R. "Allie" Zellar, age 86, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was born in Muskegon on April 2, 1925 to Floyd & Daisy (Francis) Schaub and married Walter "Mike" Zellar. Mrs. Zellar had been employed as a Bus driver at Fruitport Public Schools for 27 years until retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Bah'ai Faith, Fruitport VFW Auxillary, and Sullivan T.O.P.S. She enjoyed kids, hunting, camping & traveling. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Mick (Diana) Zellar, Ted Zellar of CA; 2 daughters, Kathryn (Skip) Bolthouse of WV, Kitty (David) Stafford of Plainwell, MI; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Mike"; daughter, Carol Blanshine; 4 sisters; 5 brothers. SERVICE Friday, December 2, 2011, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Fruitport with Bonnie Cooper officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Fruitport Lions Club.
