TAPANILA, MRS. ALICE MAY Muskegon Mrs. Alice May Tapanila, age 68, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005. She was born in Mammouth, IA on February 21, 1937 to Dwight & Marie Starr Mitchell & married Al Tapanila on April 30, 1955 in Muskegon, MI. SURVIVORS 1 son, Scott Paula Tapanila of Norton Shores; 2 daughters, Dawn Tisch & Crystal Tapanila both of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, ; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Jan George Abbott, Judie Ron Wilcox & Pam Rodney Nelson all of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Rich Rae Mitchell of Cloverville & David Gail Mitchell of Muskegon; daughter-in-law, Nancy Herman Meyers of TX; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al & a son, Larry Tapanila. SERVICE Saturday, March 5, 2005, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Sarah Samuelson officiating.
